I'm fine...nobody worry about me. 

Hey everyone...

It has been a long time since I've posted.  My RL is crazy like WOAH!  Anyway...for thoes of you who don't know...I'm from Louisiana.  I'm currently living in Mississippi, which is right next door to the east.  I went through Hurricane Katrina almost 3 years ago to the day...and now Gustav will be making landfall directly in my current location by Monday or Tuesday. 

My area is not under threat of flooding, but we have prepared for SEVERE T-stormes and tornado watches.  Our town Mayor has told us to take all precautions.  Stock up food, clean water, gas for cars, extra batteries and oil lamps, and that we will probably not have electricity for a week...or longer. 

My sister, who has been living and teaching in NewOrleans, has obeyed the manditory evacuation and is staying with us till the storm is over.  My other family members have some great aunts in Houma Louisiana...they have made the trip down there to rescue them and bring them back to the higher ground of Mississippi. 

My ex husband, his girlfriend and their product of an adultrus (sp?) relationship...(his new son with the woman he cheated on me with) *insert eye roll here* are still living in Louisiana...I have offered to book them a hotel room in Jackson MS...Because I have a soul and it is my christian duty to atleast act like I care.  moving right along...

Take some time to keep me, and all others affected by this storm, in your prayers.  I promise to check back in with yall and let you know that I'm ok.  HUGS to you all.

Hey everyone.  I went totally crazy over the adorable pictures of James and Sarah from the btvs reunion, so I made a few icons.  I was in sort of an easter mood, so these reflect the color of spring.  If you like...take...just give credit.  I'm no expert icons maker by any means, but I was bored...so...you know.

Ok...So last night I watched TW and it's cool because I actually missed last wks show, and the BBC america Chan was playing it again at 7 pm and the new one right after that at 8.  So I'm watching it and I'm like..."Woah...this show is kindof graphic!"  What with all the blood and the aliens stabbing the sh*t out of people.  More disturbing than that...an alien lady was "activated" and she left her baby in a buggy and it rolled into the street, and the show made the tire screaching noise with a crash!  Good Lord People! and then on another part...there was an explosion, and there was a lady blown up and she was pushing a baby carrage too that was in the explosion.  

I'm offically upset about this part of the show.  

But on the upside...the show is really dramatic and full of angst, (which I like).  That black lady that played the alien woman was totally wrenching my heart out with her acting!  I felt like I wanted to jump inside the TV and give her a hug.  

Then on the newest ep...about the soldier from WW1...There was totally kissage between Ianto (I think that's his name) and Capn John.  Woah...Sexy...and I was like..."I bet you thoes 2 are going to make out like wild men"...and sure enough!  lol.  I keep looking for a relatioship in this show and I keep getting confused, because it seams like everyone kind of has feelings for everyone else.  

I'm warming up to the show...

CAPN JOHN JUST PUSHED THE OTHER CUTE DUDE OFF THE TOP OF THE BUILDING AND HE IS DEADER THAN DEAD!

There has to be a catch, do they bring people back from the dead on this show?  

I'm so confused right now.  Nothing is making sense.

I'm watching TW and I'm lost on a few things.  I'm guessing because this is season 2 and not 1.  

I wonder if TW season 1 is out on DVD?  If it is mabey it is at Blockbuster and I can rent it instead of buying it.  

There is something between the main guy (I don't know everyone's name...sorry) and the pretty lady with the big beautiful eyes.

Ok so I was bored a while ago and I Googled "Spike" 

He totally has like a book on Wikipedia!  Sadly enough I read the whole thing.  lol.  I wonder who put that together because it is awsome x 10!

I wonder if fandom will be around 10 years from now?  Once all the same stories have been writen over and all the same screencaps have been turned into icons.  Or I wonder if BTVS will turn into like retro or something.  Like...and I know this is a ban analogy...The sound of music.  I mean the movie is like a million yrs old, but It is still good.  I pull it out every few yrs and It is still good to me.  I hope that is what Spike will be.  I think that is what he will be to me anyway. 

Like my dad was a treckie...he watched all the old star treck shoes over and over.  I watched them with him when I was a kid, and now I know why too much useless startreck info than I should.  I hope I can do that with my little girl.  When she is older of course.  I can't expose her to the hawtness that is Spike until she is like atleast 13 or mabey 12.  Than she can be a BTVS dorke like me.  lol.
